Since iOS 26, all search bars are located at the bottom of the screen by default. With VoiceOver, you have to swipe down to the bottom of the screen to access them or use the four-finger shortcut.
This makes the whole thing inconsistent and counterintuitive for the user. The bar is no longer at the top, so when searching, you now have to swipe left instead of right to see the results.
We can force the bars to display at the top again, as in iOS 18, but now that all the bars are gradually and increasingly being displayed at the bottom, shouldn't we accept the new UX imposed by Apple?
